We took the responsibility of supplying the parts for the hearth of the Ground Station. We delivered the gears, whole moving parts and structural part that holds the dish one side and attaches the cone on the other. Structural part needed meters of welding and to be milled to hold the moving parts precisely alined. Gears that are manufactured are milled, quenched, grinded and measured with CMM. Gross weight of the parts was 1 ton when finished.
